WORKING TASKS

The Centre Coordinator works closely with the Centre Directors of MMTC and CeFEO, supporting them with various tasks and projects. The position includes responsibility for a diverse set of activities related to the Centres, such as:

  • co-develop and coordinate marketing and branding strategies for the Centres
  • arrange events, workshops and conferences in cooperation with various internal and external actors
  • promote the Centres in different contexts
  • coordinate marketing activities and promote the Centres
  • act as project manager with budget responsibility
  • represent the Centres internally and externally
  • acting as a research coordinator (e.g. supporting the compilation of research applications, projects, data collection, formatting of papers, reference lists, search for articles etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified applicants have a relevant academic degree or equivalent knowledge and at least 3 years of qualified experience from similar job with individual responsibility. It is a merit if the applicants have a verified ability to work independently, with qualified tasks and responsibility for delivery, as well as verified ability to communicate and engage in successful collaboration with co-workers and external parties. Fluency in written and spoken English and working knowledge level in Swedish is also a demand.

Previous experience of working in the corporate world, international experience, working with branding and marketing, and project management are all considered as merits. To be successful, you should be good at building relationships, have a structured approach and show a high level of self-initiative. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

SALARY

The University practices individual salary setting, please indicate your salary requirements.

INFORMATION

The position is full-time and a permanent position. Six months probationary employment is normally applied. The starting date is to be agreed on.

Duty on evenings and weekends may occur, likewise some travels.
