OUR OFFER TO YOU

The Operations Manager is a member of JIBS´ leadership team and has personnel responsibility for the administrative staff at JIBS. The holder of the position works in close collaboration both with the Dean and the Associate Deans. The main tasks and responsibilities are to:

• Lead and coordinate operational and administrative tasks
• Support Dean’s Office with action planning and follow-up
• Support Dean’s involvement in JIBS’ strategic initiative
• Support Dean’s interactions with unions, safety officers, work environment committee etc.
• Represent JIBS in the university´s council for service and support
• Ensure JIBS compliance with administrative rules and policies

As Operations Manager you are expected to contribute to a dynamic academic environment. This includes being present at JIBS throughout the year.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a person who enjoys coordinating many activities with a customer-oriented attitude and professional approach to the work. You are comfortable in making decisions and have great skills in communication. Furthermore, you are fluent in written and spoken English as well as Swedish or another Nordic language.

As Operations Manager you should have a minimum bachelor level degree relevant for the position and several years of experience of administrative work, preferably from academia. Previous experience from leadership and management, and particularly personnel responsibility, is a merit.

Furthermore, you have a high degree of self-awareness and integrity, you enjoy cooperating with others and you have the ability to develop an inclusive work environment.
