The Department for Science and Biomedicine (ANB) has four different programmes, of which one is the Radiology Nursing Programme. It a dynamic workplace characterised by a number of professions. ANB stands for solid competence and can offer good opportunities for staff and students to develop. The department is now hiring a University Lecturer in Radiography.

Job description

As University Lecturer in Radiography you will be responsible for both theoretical and practical teaching and examinations on undergraduate and graduate levels. You will supervise students on undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels. You will have the opportunity to develop courses and programmes, mainly within the Radiology Nursing Programme, but also in other fields at the School of Health and Welfare. The position includes administration, for example course administration and pedagogical development.

Qualifications

You are either a certified radiology nurse or have similar qualifications, and you have a doctoral degree in Radiography or another relevant field. It’s positive if you have current clinical experience as a certified radiology nurse. You have documented teaching expertise and have completed courses related to pedagogy in higher education or have a willingness to complete such courses within your first two years of employment. Your ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English is good.

You have experience in supervising students and performing administrative tasks. Furthermore, your ability to plan, organise and prioritise your work assignments in an effective way is good. You have the ability to lead, you have communication skills, and the ability to work in inter-professional teams. You also have an ability to work independently and adapt to different assignments. Information

The position is permanent, with a part-time grade of at least 50%. A probationary period is usually applied. Starting date according to agreement.
