Department of Logistics and Operations Management, at School of Engineering, conduct education and research in logistics, operations management and work organisation. Collaboration with the surrounding society and international presence are key elements in all our areas of activity.

With us at the Department of Logistics and Business Management, we are now in need of strengthening a university lecturer in business administration. At the department, we are engaged in educations at undergraduate, advanced level and postgraduate level, as well as in independent courses and commissioned educations for both private business and the public sector. The department is also conducting research that supports the range of education. We have an open and informal work climate where openness, respect and generosity are some of our key values.

Tasks

As a senior lecturer in industrial economics, your main task is to equip our students with knowledge in, for example, economics, marketing, entrepreneurship, and innovation, which they will need in their varying professional roles. The main task is to teach, but there can be room to participate in research projects and be a co-supervisor for doctoral students, in the long run. Furthermore, within the framework of the position, there may be an opportunity to engage in other tasks within the department and the organization, such as program leadership, internationalization work and similar development and management assignments.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are genuinely interested in pedagogical activities and who have undergone training in higher education pedagogy or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge. You need to have documented pedagogical skills and experience of teaching in industrial economics, preferably at university level. You also need to master both Swedish and English in speech and writing. You should be flexible and have a good ability to work together and a great interest in educational development.

For the position as university lecturer, we are looking for you who have completed a doctorate in economics or a closely related field. You also need to have shown good ability to plan, organize and prioritize the work in an efficient and purposeful way. Terms

The position is a permanent employment of 100%, starting April 1 or by agreement. Collective agreements and individual wage setting are applied.
