JIBS is looking for a Full Professor/Senior Associate Professor in Business Administration with focus on Strategy in combination with Organization or Entrepreneurship.
We offer an internationally leading academic environment within our focus areas entrepreneurship, ownership and renewal. The new Full Professor or Senior Associate Professor is expected to actively contribute to the overall development of JIBS in one or more of these areas, with a specific emphasis on strategy in combination with organization or entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be an academic leader and important contributor to education, research, and service activities at JIBS.
The research at JIBS is to a large extent conducted within one of, or across, its three research centres:
CeFEO — Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership: Its mission is to conduct high-quality research and disseminate knowledge on different family businesses and ownership topics.
CEnSE — Centre for Entrepreneurship and Spatial Economics: Its mission is to organize, support, and carry out innovative, high-quality, basic as well as policy relevant research on entrepreneurship and spatial economics.
MMTC — Media, Management and Transformation Centre: Its focus is on researching digital innovations and business renewal for more sustainable and globalized industry practices.
YOUR PROFILE
JIBS is recruiting a Professor (or Senior Associate Professor) in Business Administration focused on Strategy in combination with Organization or Entrepreneurship. The new professor is expected to contribute to the overall development of JIBS and excel in conducting research at highest international standards. To fit the position, the candidate embraces diversity and collaboration and is willing to join current activities as well as develop and lead new initiatives. We are looking for ambitious and motivated candidates with a track record in research and teaching excellence and experience in attracting external funding and engaging with different stakeholders. Fluency in written and spoken English and ability to teach and examine courses using English is a prerequisite.
Applicants are expected to outline in the cover letter how they align with the focus areas of JIBS: entrepreneurship, ownership and/or renewal, and how they suggest to engage in one (or more) of the three research centres listed above.
