At JIBS we work in an international environment and maintain both national and international networks. Teaching is performed primarily in English and distributed over the academic year.

Besides teaching, the holder of the position must be able to position their present or aspired research orientation within JIBS focus areas. All assistant professors at JIBS are expected to do research, apply for externally funded research grants, as well as be engaged with business and society at large, to improve JIBS footprint in the broader society.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a candidate with experience from teaching and research in business administration with focus on areas relating to HRM, Organizational behavior and Leadership.

In the selection process, we will put great value on your aptness to the organization including flexibility, communication skills, quality awareness and ability to collaborate and build relationships. You should be willing and able to contribute to a dynamic academic environment, including being present at JIBS throughout the year.

JIBS is a school with a clear international profile which means you should have experience in relating with other cultures. You have a fluency in written and spoken English and it is meritorious if you know any of the Nordic languages.

Furthermore you should:

• have been awarded a Degree of Doctor in Business Administration or other relevant area to the position;
• have documented research expertise;
• have documented teaching expertise;
• have taken a course in teaching and learning in higher education or have acquired equivalent knowledge in some other way

INFORMATION

The position is a full time temporary replacement for one year. The employment start is October 15th, 2020.
