Lecturer in Business Administration with focus on Sustainability - Under tillsättning eller tillsatt, ej sökbar

JIBS is now recruiting a Lecturer in Business Administration focusing on sustainability to further strengthen our profile in responsible management practice in our education programs and societal engagement, this recruitment aims to hire someone with strong professional experience within sustainability, working with different forms of organizations and networks.

WORKING TASKS

All lecturers at JIBS are expected to engage with business and society to improve JIBS’ relevance and impact in the community.

The position involves different education activities, including teaching and course development at bachelor and master level and service to JIBS. Teaching is distributed over the academic year and mainly performed in English, a fluency in English is therefore required. Ability to teach in Swedish is an advantage.

The applicant should be well versed in the latest developments in business sustainability including social and/or environmental dimensions of sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for a position as a Lecturer you must have a Degree of Master (60 HEC) or corresponding competence of importance to the position. You have a well-documented expertise in teaching as well as a sound ability to lead teaching and develop courses and study programmes.

Ability to teach on the sustainability topic applied to various subjects of business administration such as management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and accounting is required.

We see that you have a well-documented experience of sustainability work, a prior engagement in the community is meritorious as is experience of consultative work in a, for the position relevant area.

It is also meritorious if you have prior experience of:

• work in academia
• entrepreneurship
• research or research education
• academic and institutional service

INFORMATION

The position is permanent and full-time. Starting May 2021.

Please note that we are open to discuss the alternative of a part-time adjunct position for up to two years as an alternative to full time lecturer.
